Today is one of those days where I remember a poem by the famous Jewish poet of medieval Spain, Rabbi Yehuda Halevi. The first line of “Libi Ba’Mizrach,” (My Heart is in the East) probably his most famous work of art, is: “My heart is in the East, and I am in the uttermost West.”

Becoming American

Three to five years takes the procedure for acquiring U.S. citizenship, said yesterday Magistrate Judge Yeane J. Graham of the U.S. District Court in St. Paul Minnesota.

She made the Opening notes for the naturalization ceremony of 209 people from 53 countries that took place at the Landmark Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Road Trip to Ely: are we there yet?

Even before we left to Ely, everyone said it was a beautiful place. Was Ely that beautify, we had two days to find out. The much anticipated journey started Sunday morning, we drove through some iron ore mining towns, I realized it was no joke, this town is really surrounded in lakes.

Today was a beautiful day that cheered me up a lot. It was the best time to go to Nationalization Ceremony in S.-Paul, MN right after a great speech of Mr. Steve Oesterle, in Medtronic headquarter in Minneapolis, where I was paralyzed and simultaneously delighted by technical and scientific achievements of Medtronic and personally by Mr. Oesterle.
