Ron Iori

Ron Iori is Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs at ARAMARK, a leader in food services, facilities management and uniform and career apparel. He joined ARAMARK, based in Philadelphia, in November 2007. Before ARAMARK, he was Senior Vice President of Communications at H&R Block in Kansas City.

Iori began his career in newspapers, spending 18 years as an editor at papers such as the Wall Street Journal and Los Angeles Times. In 1994, he moved into public relations as a Senior Vice President at Sitrick & Co., a crisis public relations agency in Los Angeles. He then joined AlliedSignal, where he worked in communications roles in the Aerospace and Automotive divisions. In 1997, he joined Ford Motor Co., where he spent nearly 9 years in a variety of Public Affairs roles.

Iori holds a bachelor's degree in Journalism from Ohio University and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He is a member of Ohio University’s National Alumni Board, where he served as chairman, and the Ohio University Foundation. He is past president of the Ohio University Journalism School's Alumni Society and serves on the school's Professional Advisory Board. He also is treasurer of the World Press Institute.
