Ms. Díaz-de-León's professional and academic experience concentrates in writen Journalism in Mexico City. During her 10 years of editorial work, she has specialized in coaching journalist, team building and creation of new editorial products like: the first Metro section of Mexico City in REFORMA newspaper; METRO newspaper; ESTADO section, and the Metro section for Guadalajara’s MURAL, Newspaper.

In 1989 Ms. Rascon began working in EL NORTE newspaper, in Monterrey as a Metro Reporter; then, she moved to Mexico City as a correspondent for the same paper.

In 1992 she became the founding Metro Editor for REFORMA newspaper, responsible for training my staff of around 30 reporters. In 1995 she founded a Civic Journalism orientated daily section for the north-west part of the city, called ESTADO, and in 1997 shealso founded a METRO newspaper, called like that: METRO

In 2000 Ms. Rascon left her editing work and began teaching and training journalists in Grupo REFORMA.

In 2004 she began working as a professor in the Anahuac University; her
assignments are editing and on-line editing. She is also the current affairs editor for Grupo Editorial NORMA.
